A Twitter post by new 343 Industries hire Michael Cavanaugh showed a photo of himself with another fellow on Friday. Behind both of was something quite interesting, right below a 343 Industries banner was a countdown clock displaying the number "382."

TeamBeyond noted that Cavanaugh, nicknamed "Strongside" is a professional Halo player and he is accompanied by Halo community manager Andy "Bravo" Dudynsky.

If the figure is referring to a date, counting forward it would roughly fall on Nov. 10, 2015. According to TechTimes, the "Halo 5: Guardian" is set for release sometime in 2015 and the 10th of November falls on a Tuesday, the day when video games are usually released in North America. It was also noted that the post was made at exactly 3:43 a.m.

"Nov. 10 also gives Microsoft plenty of time to market Halo 5 and the Xbox One to holiday shoppers. When all of those details are put into place, a Nov. 10 release date makes a whole lot of sense," wrote the site.

While fans may be excited for the new franchise game set to debut next fall, a representative for Microsoft told IGN, "The recent rumors regarding the release date of 'Halo 5: Guardians' are false."

While the rumors are being denied by Microsoft, one can't help but notice the appropriateness of Nov. 10. More than the timing, reviewing the history of release of the franchise, GameSpot reported that all Halo games, except for Halo 3, all the games included in the franchise was done within the first half of November with the latest release, "Halo: The Master Chief Collection, having been released Nov. 11.

Not much is known on the plot of "Halo 5." but according to  general manager Bonnie Ross ad development director Frank O'Connor who commented before about the game, via The Guardian, "Halo 5" will take off from the events of "Halo 4."

"When we left him in Halo 4, he's in a really challenging position," said Ross about Chief. "He's questioning many things he once firmly believed were true. He's lost his best friend, he's questioning his past and his purpose, he's question who he is fighting for.

"For us this is a really interesting point. For the first time he's questioning everything he's done for the UNSC in the past. Just as with past titles, we're being really open about the fact that we want to tell this story over more than one game - this is about Master Chief's journey: it's about his past and his future"
