10 weeks along, Kate Middleton is reportedly back to suffering from a condition which could have women vomiting up to 30 times per day.

Mail Online reported that Kate is suffering from a condition called "hyperemesis gravidarum (HG)", the same illness she was diagnosed with during her pregnancy with Prince George. Although she isn't hospitalized for this second pregnancy, it doesn't mean everything is going smoothly. A source of the outlet revealed:

"Don't be fooled by the fact that she hasn't been admitted to hospital this time. She is just as poorly. The difference is that her doctors have been able to diagnose and treat her quicker. She really hasn't been at all well, though."

With this, the 32-year-old reportedly sought the care of her mother, Carole, and has gone back to their Georgian mansion at Bucklebury Manor, said Mail Online.

Carole is allegedly looking up alternative cures and home-made remedies for the said sickness, said Mail Online.

HG is described as "severe nausea and vomiting during pregnancy" by Baby Center. The website elaborates, posting:

"Women with this condition throw up so often that they can't keep enough food and fluid down to stay healthy. The result is dehydration, weight loss, and other complications for them and their babies."

One of the very first things given to pregnant women with hyperemesis gravidarum is intravenous fluids, to combat dehydration brought about by severe vomiting. Some are also given vitamins and anti-nausea medications, said Baby Center.

And it seems that Kate is receiving the same. Mail Online said that according to "medical experts", she is treated with a drip in their Georgian mansion.

It appears that the IV fluids weren't enough to help Kate up for her trip to Malta in Sept. In attendance was Prince William instead.

"I'm sorry you've got me instead of Catherine," he said during the first day of the two-day event, as quoted by E! Online. "She's very disappointed she couldn't be here today."

According to Clarence House, "the decision was taken on the advice of doctors."

The royal couple announced their second child and the return of the familiar pregnancy-related sickness in a statement issued on Sept. as quoted by E! Online in an earlier report:

"Their Royal Highnesses, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child. The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.

"Her Royal Highness will no longer accompany The Duke of Cambridge on their planned engagement in Oxford today. The Duchess of Cambridge is being treated by doctors at Kensington Palace."
