The  iPhone 6 is reportedly set to debut in less than a month, and a release announcement may come on Sept. 9. As that date draws near more and more hints at the possible new features are available about the latest iPhone to hit the market. Some leaks of the new iPhone show that it will feature a scratch proof Apple logo as well as a raised camera ring. These features haven't been verified by Apple, but they're the closest look yet at what the new iPhone may look like.

These latest alleged features were leaked online by a Russian luxury design website and social media account, which includes an image of what's being described as a liquid metal alloy that makes up the Apple logo on the new iPhone 6, according to an article in the UK Daily Mail. The image, which is a cutout of the phone shows a camera ring that sticks out.  "A close-up shot of this supposed raised ring, and could be used to attach additional lenses to the iPhone 6, as suggested in a patent also revealed in April," the Daily Mail describes.

Some reports suggest the new logo will light-up, and that Apple has produced two different sized version of the phone: a 4.7-inch model, and possibly a larger 5.5-inch model.  Reports also say that the iPhone 6 will carry a 2100mAh battery and an A8 processor, and feature a new curved glass design.

The iPhone 6, according to the website digitaltrends.com, will likely have an aluminum back, power button on the side instead of at the top, and larger volume buttons.

While a potentially larger screen size, at 5.5 inches has gotten a lot of attention, it's Apple's new sapphire screen display that's generating the most intense rumors. Some models of the iPhone 6 are expected to carry the new screen, which would compliment the hinted-at thinner body size of the phone.

"The larger 5.5-inch iPhone 6 might also incorporate Optical Image Stabilization," reports the site Macrumors.com. That feature would likely help make it work buying up from the smaller-screen that is reportedly going to be available. The website says there's also the possibility that the larger iPhone 6 will have a 128GB of storage.

If it turns out to be true that the iPhone 6 is announced on Sept. 9, then reports suggest that it's likely the phone will be available for pre-orders by that Friday, Sept. 12. As with previous versions of the phone, it could cost anywhere from $200 on a plan to up to $700 or more.
