Several Texan reps in Congress have expressed their disagreement with the proposed military attack plans in Syria. The Republican Reps are Louie Gohmert, Kenny Merchant, and Pete Sessions.

They are just the newest in the list of other members of the House who do not want to support the 'limited military action' that the US may probably do to serve as prevention for any chemical weapon attacks of Syria.

Mr Sessions, chairman of House Rules Committee, believes that the plan of President Barack Obama may not be in the best interest of the American people. Like his other constituents, they find the goal set to be uncertain.

Mr Merchant on the other hand is concerned with the results that can worsen when the US attacks will pursue. Syria's President Assad may become more 'unfriendly' to the citizens of USA. "There are too many unanswered questions and unclear objectives," he mentioned in a written statement.

For Mr Gohmert's opinion, if the US President Obama's plan of attack is extremely serious, then he should have started a strong alliance with other nations. According to the Secretary of State, there are 34 nations who would take the side of the US for any possible military mission.

Other Texans in politics who are against the military action plan are Sen. Ted Cruz, Rep. Michael Burgess, Rep, Roger Williams and Rep. Michael McCaul. If there is one Texan who supports President Obama's proposal is Houston-based Democrat Sheila Jackson Lee. She is consistent with knowing the dangers of the use of chemical weapons but she remains open with the decision for military action.
