The Nokia Lumia 925 has arrived in India but at varied prices.

Nokia has officially released the Lumia 925 with a starting price of ₹34,169, which is approximately $541 when converted to the U.S. dollar.

The price is valid for the black, gray, and white models of the Lumia 925.

According to Nokia, the price of the Windows Phone 8 was originally ₹38,529 but was reduced by 11 percent, a savings of ₹4,360.

Flipkart, however, is offering the Lumia 925 at a lower price than Nokia. The Lumia 925 is listed at ₹32,499. The Flipkart price is valid for the black, gray, and white models as well. Flipkart is also offering free home delivery and is inclusive of taxes.

The debut in India comes as Nokia launched a new advertisement for the smartphone with subliminal jokes at Apple and Google's Android.

The advertisement starts with a man biting into an apple while a friend to his right wears a shirt that features a coffee mug, both references to Apple and Java, respectively. A female companion accompanies the friends as they wait for their photo to be taken. The photographer is a guy wearing a shirt featuring a droid figure, perhaps a reference to Android.

The Lumia 925's features include a 4.5-inch display with 1,280x768 pixels and a 2,000mAh battery capacity for the 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor. The Lumia 925's wireless connections include the latest Bluetooth and NFC technology. The maximum standby time is 440 hours and just over 12 hours of talk time on a 3G network.
