It didn't take long for Amanda Bynes to steal headlines with another bizarre attention-seeking statement on Twitter.

On Monday, the troubled actress posted a message claiming that she deserves $1 million because someone has read her mind and "stolen" her privacy.

"I Want A Million Dollars A Year For Illegally Having My Mind Read And Privacy Stolen," she wrote causing followers to question her sanity and state of well-being.

Until Monday, it seemed like the 27-year-old actress was taking a break from posting peculiar thoughts and lashing out on celebrities by calling them "ugly" on the social media website.

According to a celebrity publicist, Bynes' is actually putting on an act in order to gain publicity as she prepares for her next movie role. In a series of text messages leaked by Jonathan Jaxson, the former child star allegedly wrote that her bizarre antics have contributed to her media buzz which is all a part of her master plan to raise the level of her celebrity.

"All this has been an act and you know it!" Bynes allegedly texted Jaxson last month. "I am an actress and know what I am doing."

"I got to 2 million followers and now everyone wants me. I am smart and not stupid. Everyone mentions my name. The world loves me!"

Jaxson shared a screenshot image of the conversation he claims that he had with the troubled actress on his twitter account.

He also tweeted, "Sooo @AmandaBynes has told tonight that she has been 'acting' this entire time on Twitter to get attention as she prepares for next movie!"

However, if indeed Bynes' alleged drug use, recent arrest and celebrity Twitter attacks are all for fun, it would only make her seem even weirder.
