As the Halloween is fast approaching an artist transformed her parent's home into Monster House, inspired by the 2006 animated film by Gil Kenan with the same title. Christine McConnell is known by creating creepy and monstrous pastries, now for her latest project, she spent days to build the haunted house that she like.

Christine manually crafted the decorations she needed for the South Californian home, according to Bored Panda. Using hand-painted foam boards, she converted their house into a real-life "Monster House" with giant fangs and multiple huge, ghastly eyes.

The porch area became a giant mouth filled with sharp teeth that looks like will swallow anyone who comes near while the giant eyes seem to scare someone who dares to approach. Daily Mail Online reported that Christine, who's also a photographer, spent a full 12-hrs of each four days to mold the eyes and let the foam-core boards to dry.

She, too, added the decoration with traditional jack o'lanterns, webs and giant spiders to complete the haunted house look. "Everyone has loved it so far," she told SF Gate.

"Kids wanted to take their picture with the house while I was working on it! Tons of people driving by were stopping to take pictures. I've decorated their house before and people have always loved it, but it never got this much of a reaction."

Meanwhile, Christine admitted that she had spent more quality time with her family when she was creating the Monster House. "I spent a good amount of that socializing with them. So it wasn't all work," she told Huffington Post.

She has been decorating her guardians' house for years and she revealed that "this is by far their favorite." Christine first adorned their home with bats and ghosts and she even managed to bake their abode themed cake.

Moreover, last year, the baker made noise on social media after she posted a series of photos recreating the "traditional 1950s female stereotypes with classic cult horror movies" on Instagram, Daily Mail added.

In one of her snaps, she was seen with the iconic killer, Jason, from the classic movie "Friday The 13^th." She also stroked a pose with the slayer's signature mask while imitating his frightening, harmful wave.

Christine told Buzzfeed that she's admiring Tim Burton, Vincent Price, Alfred Hitchcock, and Paula Deen, who are also her inspirations.
