Shakira and family have enjoyed their first Christmas with the new addition, Milan, and have shared a moment or two of that special time with their fans via Twitter.

It all begins with a photo of two not-so-happy faces posted on Christmas. The "sad-but-adorable" scene was photographed byShakira's partner and the father of her child, Barcelona soccer great Gerard Pique. Under the title "Mimosos," which means "fussy," Pique wished a Merry Christmas to all.

Then the next day, another pair of images revealed the much-happier Milan enjoying his first "Caga Tio." This Catalan tradition involves whacking a small animal character made from a hollowed-out log with a stick to encourage it to "drop" presents.

"My kind of holiday is with my loved ones, and with Milan," she said on the Today Show on Dec. 16 as she sat down with Jenna Bush Hager to stuff Christmas bags for the students at one of the schools begun by Shakira's charity the "Barefoot Foundation."

"I want him to love people," Shakira said of her hopes for teaching her son to give back. "I want him to really grow up in a world in which he trusts others."

Shakira will be busy once the New Year gets rolling again. The Colombian singer has agreed to return, along with Usher, to the NBC talent show "The Voice."

According to Access Hollywood, the two will replace Christina Aguilera and CeeLo Green in a special two-night premiere Feb. 24 and 25.

Additionally, Shakira fans are anxiously awaiting a January release of a new single. Billboard reports that the new album's name has not been released yet, but that the record will be a dedication to Pique. It is also rumored that Rihanna will be appearing on the new album. In a Dec. 8 Tweet, Shakira told her fans that she had just finished shooting a video for the new single.
