Jennifer Lawrence looks fierce in red in the new "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" image from the film's teaser website.

In the photo, Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen sits on President Snow's (Donald Sutherland's) throne in a blood-red battle suit equipped with her signature arrows,

The photo was captioned, "The Capitol Must Fall So We May Be Free."

While known to have some sort of propaganda messages on their marketing posters and advertisements, this time, Mocking jay Part 2 has none of that. Instead, the poster only boasted of the film's title and slogan, which read, "The fire will burn forever."

A previous poster for the final installment in the series showed a headless, crumbling statue of President Snow with a graffiti of a red mockingjay in the background --- a symbol that fans know to be of rebellion against Panem's Capitol.

The franchise also released other posters of the main characters wearing warpaint, E! News reported, with results that are effective in trying to terrify the audience about the war that's to come.

Inquisitr said that the film's teaser, as well as its official Twitter page, has already asked fans to "Stand with 'The Mockingjay'."

The entertainment news outlet said that the official posters released for the final installment of "The Hunger Games" franchise have striking similarities from the posters and marketing of the previous film, which is done deliberately to tell the story of Panem.

While the first poster from "Mockingjay Part 1" showed homage to President Snow's "impermeable" reign, the posters from "Part 2" showed frailty in his rule during the rebellion as Katniss and her supporters try to take him down.

On Katniss's role in the rebellion, if she is shown on the poster taking her place on the president's throne, does it mean that she is going to reign over Panem post-war?

Book readers know the fate of the characters in the story, but after all the deaths and victory, what will happen to the citizens of Panem in all the districts? They would need a leader, and Katniss has always been their icon of freedom.

What do you suppose is in store for the citizens of Panem in the aftermath of the war and rebellion? Will Katniss and her group of supporters be successful in ending the Hunger Games, or is it just the beginning of the end of their apocalyptic world?
