There was just so much to be said that is newsworthy about the Vanity Fair's cover for the month of June, which features the stunning Caitlyn Jenner. And high up on the list is the buzz behind the uncanny resemblance between the cover girl and the seasoned actress Jessica Lange.

By the way, for those of you who might have missed it, Caitlyn Jenner was the former Olympic gold-medalist in decathlon, Bruce Jenner. The sportsman turned Reality TV star known for his role in the Keeping Up With The Kardashian as the household patriarch.   The social networking sites are now teeming with photos of Caitlyn's cover pose and Jessica's images posted alongside each other. And the name of the two even make it to Twitter's top trending topics, according to Mashable.

In a phone interview with the The DailyBeast, the actress was told about the news of her trending on Twitter. And her response was "What does that mean?" She admittedly said that she doesn't "do any of this stuff, the Internet," and that it has to be explained to her first.

After giving her the lowdown on what "trending" means and how it works courtesy of the DailyBeast, the actress gave her reaction on the matter. "Oh, really?" she said. "That's so wonderful. Well, now I'm going to have to look for that picture."

Caitlyn, on the other hand, made the headlines earlier by shattering the Twitter record of no less than the POTUS (President of the United States). Barack Obama was holding on to the record of reaching one million followers in just under five hours set on May 18, before the newcomer came up with the same number, but doing the feat almost one hour less, the Huffington Post reports.

Twitter data show that more than a million tweets were sent out about the 65-year-old Jenner, after just posting her first tweet about the The Vanity Fair cover, which is part of a photo shoot with Annie Leibovitz. In Caitlyn's following tweet, she expressed her happiness on her self-liberation.

There were no shortage of support and messages of admiration for one of the newest members of the fair sex, and her courage to come out. The favorable reception includes celebrities, not the least of which were her own children. Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian, together with Kendall and Kylie Jenner, all took to social media to express their stamp of approval for their father, according to another article by Mashable.

Back in April, Bruce Jenner has revealed the truth about his gender in an exclusive two-hour special of ABC News' "20/20."

"For all intents and purposes, I'm a woman," Bruce told ABC's Diane Sawyer.
