Wedding bells are about to ring for Adrienne Bailon and her longtime boyfriend Lenny Santiago.

Bailon revealed during an episode of "The Real" that she is engaged to her boyfriend of almost six years, who is the Senior Vice President of A&R, Artist Management at Roc Nation. According to a report from E! Online, he is also the manager of hip-hop artist, Fabolous, and has been in the entertainment industry for decades. Santiago is also a known as a celebrity photographer under the name KodakLens.

To keep the announcement more special, Bailon didn't reveal the good news immediately. E! Online recounted that while she and her "The Real" co-hosts, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, Tamar Braxton, Tamera Mowry, were flipping through magazines pages for the latest Hollywood stories, Bailon remarked that there was something important missing from there.

"It's not in here, you know why? Because no one knows," the 31-year-old TV personality said, as quoted by E! Online. She then showed her left arm to her co-hosts, with the engagement ring on one of her fingers. "I'm engaged," Bailon revealed.

The ladies were shocked but very happy for their friend, the news outlet noted. Bailon told them that when she went back to New York recently, Santiago "convinced her to get out of her pajamas one night and go to a nice dinner with the family." Upon arriving at an empty restaurant, he gave a speech to Bailon's parents saying "how much he loves their daughter and said he had a gift for everyone."

The present "was supposed to show the family that he knows Adrienne is worth it and will be able to give her everything she deserves in due time," E! Online added. Bailon went on to say that she searched through the tissues laid in the box to find carrots. She then jokingly asked Santiago if the vegetable is the "harvest" of their love, given that she loves carrots so much. After that, Santiago got down on one knee to propose with a beautiful ring.

Why Adrienne Stopped Her Singing Career

Last month, Bailon opened up for the first time about her absence in the music scene in an episode of "The Real." The TV star got emotional and admitted that she was afraid of failing.

According to separate report from E! Online, she's scared that people won't like new music or it would not be successful. She also disclosed that she doesn't like the sound of her own voice, which she thinks "sounded really young."

Bailon was the lead singer and founding member of both 3LW and The Cheetah Girls, E! Online noted.
