Just recently, a rumor circulated on the Internet, claiming that the upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" film, will be split into two parts, with "Part 1: Enter the Knight" arriving on October 23, 2015 and "Part 2: Dawn of Justice" scheduled on March 25, 2016. Henry Cavill, who will reprise his role as Superman/Clark Kent in the movie, opened up about the speculations, as reported by Comic Book Movie.

Cavill spoke to Variety reporter Ramin Setoodeh about "Batman v Superman", during an appearance at a BAFTA party in Los Angeles. According to a tweet posted by Setoodeh, "Henry Cavill says 'Batman v Superman' won't be split into two movies. #BAFTATea."

The actor also revealed what it feels like to work alongside Ben Affleck, saying that the latter is a "great Batman," Comic Book Movie noted. When asked if he was injured during his fight scenes with Affleck, Cavill answered, "Are you kidding? I'm the Man of Steel." As for whether "Batman v Superman" will be better than Marvel's "The Avengers," the actor replied, "You'll see."

According to a report from Badass Digest, the story of "Batman v Superman" could not support a two-part split, since "the first half isn't Batman heavy enough to merit 'Enter the Knight' as a subtitle."

"There's so much action in the second half as Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman battle Doomsday in Metropolis and Gotham that you'd end up with two very, very lopsided movies. It works as an escalation in the full script, but without major additions it seems limp," Badass Digest reported.

However, the news outlet also noted that Ray Fisher, who will play as Victor Stone a.k.a. Cyborg in the film, previously stated that he only had scenes with Affleck and is thought to be "only in this movie as a cameo, and that's at the very, very end as Batman assembles the Justice League." If "Batman v Superman" will be split into two, Cyborg's part would probably have been expanded; he could be introduced as Victor Stone in the earlier parts and then transformed into a superhero during the climax of the movie, Badass Digest explained.

'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' Cast and Production

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is directed by Zack Snyder, with David Goyer as the screenwriter, according to a report from Cinema Blend.

Aside from Cavill, Affleck, and Fisher, other cast members include Amy Adams, who will reprise her role as the Daily Planet investigative journalist Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Bruce Wayne/Batman's loyal butler Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Ma Kent, and Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Movie Web reported.
