Much to the delight of prospective shoppers, Microsoft has cut the price of the Xbox One by $50 for the holidays. This applies to Kinect and Kinect-free bundles, wrote TechnoBuffalo.

The outlet sourced information from Xbox's Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb. However, note that these deals are temporary: the Kinect-free Xbox One will soon revert to its original price of $399, while the camera-packing version resells at $499.

The Xbox Wire specified that original prices apply on Jan. 3, Saturday. The source wrote that the discounted Xbox One may be bought online for $349 in Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Microsoft Stores, Target, Toys 'R Us and Walmart.
