On the last episode of "Chicago Fire," Severide made a miraculous rescue, allowing him to save a young boy's life.

In "Joyriding," Severide (Taylor Kinney) goes out on a jog and comes across a secluded, empty construction site. At the site, he sees a young boy who has been trapped in a backhoe loader and needs help getting disentangled from the dangerous machine. In an act of bravery, Severide is eventually able to extricate him from the situation.

Although the boy is injured, Severide saves the boy, who would have died had no one come to his assistance.

Meanwhile, Boden (Eamonn Walker) and McLeod (Michelle Forbes) continue to butt heads over the future of the firehouse, and Boden breaks the news about his future to Casey (Jesse Spencer).

It's also election day for the union presidency, so Mouch (Christian Stotle) and Greg Sullivan (Eric Slater) have a debate on Otis' (Yuri Sardarov) podcast.

Molly's is also implicated for the fire at rival bar Game Day.

On the next episode, "No Regrets," the team will deal with a train that goes off its track.

The synopsis reads: "While the Firehouse 51 team deals with a train derailment accident, Boden wrestles with a decision that will affect everyone. "

TVGuide also reported that Shay (Lauren German) will spiral more and more out of control, which will cause Dawson (Monica Raymund) to move on to a new partner named Erik. But Erik doesn't exactly have a sunny disposition; Dawson says he's the most negative person she ever met. He's so surly that Dawson asks Casey for advice about possibly switching to become a firefighter.

Watch the promo for "No Regrets," which airs Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 10 p.m.
