Hilary Clinton supports Saudi women on their fight to end the women driving ban in Saudi, the Daily Mail reported.

The former U.S. secretary of state recently said in an event in London, "I'm all for it. It is an issue that is symbolic." She also added that the ban is "hard to even rationalize" in the world today.

Clinton was a guest speaker at London's Chatham House international affairs think tank on Friday, October 11. The organization awarded her its annual Chatham House Prize in recognition for her contribution to international diplomacy as well as her work in promoting gender equality.

The previous winners of the annual Chatham House Prize former were Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and include Myanmar's Aung San Suu Kyi. The award was accompanied by a scroll signed by the Queen and was handed to Clinton by Prince Andrew.

While on their trip to London, husband Bill Clinton tweeted photographs of the two walking hand-in-hand in Hyde Park.

According to Al Jazeera, Hilary also talked about Iran's nuclear talks in her speech at the event. She said she wanted to see a real change in the stance of Iran on weapons.

"In Geneva next week, I will be most interested in hearing if the Iranians are putting any meat on the bones of their hope that there can be a negotiation that leads to a resolution that is satisfying to them and acceptable to us."

"And I just think we don't have any way of knowing that yet," she added.
