Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have reportedly put their wedding on hold after their relationship went sour.

Theroux, 42, asked Aniston to come to New York to celebrate her 45th birthday, but she turned down the offer because of cold weather, Radar Online said. Wedding plans have also been postponed.

"She wanted to be in sunny Southern California with her friends," a source said.

The "Friends" actress was seen going to dinner at Soho House with Courteney Cox, Jennifer Meyer and Chris McMillan.

"It's absolutely indicative of the status of Jen and Justin's relationship," continued the source. There is absolutely no wedding talk or planning going on. Publicly the couple is saying it's because they are just too busy with work, but if they wanted to get married, it would happen."

Aniston was not seen with Theroux for Philip Seymour Hoffman's funeral. The source points out that this is another sign of trouble as the deceased actor was a friend of both.

Instead, Aniston's rep said she wasn't able to attend because she was in the midst of getting a role in an upcoming independent film. But sources say that she didn't need to be present for the deal.

This source is also pretty unsure about what is to come for the two.

"The relationship is definitely at an impasse...either it's going to fizzle out, which seems likely, or they get married. Jen is extremely insecure and very needy...Justin is the opposite, very laid back and low maintenance."

The two first met in 2007, on the set of "Tropic Thunder," but they wouldn't start dating until about 2011, a year after they shot "Wanderlust." In August 2012, on his 41st birthday, Theroux proposed to Aniston.
