Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez split up after seven years of marriage, but there are no hard feelings between the two. Anthony is friends with Casper Smart, Lopez's current boyfriend.

On The Wendy Williams Show, he explained more about the relationship.

"It's great," he said. "As a matter of fact, we were texting back and forth two days ago. We're actually really, really good friends. From the very beginning."

Lopez and Smart have been dating for two years, and Marc Anthony praised the former backup dancer for being so great to he and Lopez's twins, Max and Emme, age 5.

"When you love someone and you care for some...Jennifer and I - I don't say it lightly - we're great friends. You know, anybody that means anything to her means something to me. That's keeping it simple. Casper's a great guy. He's been great to my children. And I have nothing but respect for him, absolutely nothing but respect."

And as friends do, he also poked a little fun at Lopez.

She and Smart have an 18-year age difference, which Jennifer Lopez has defended before, stating that she doesn't feel or look any older and is just acting in the same way.

Anthony agreed saying, "I like them young, too! I'm not one to judge."

The 45-year-old singer recently split with Chloe Green, who he dated for a year. He said their busy schedules made it difficult.

Regardless, he remains optimistic about love. When asked by Wendy if he would get married again, he replied yes.

"I believe in relationships," he said. "I believe that God has blessed me in so many ways. Materials things go but so far. Success goes but so far. But when your house is empty, and you don't have someone to invest in, if you don't have a witness, it's almost worthless."
