Katerina Petrova will be back to her old dirty tricks when "The Vampire Diaries" returns with an all-new episode this Thursday.

Last week, The CW aired the game-changing 100th episode in which Katherine decided to use her traveler powers to transfer her consciousness into Elena's body while she was on her death bed. Now, in the upcoming episode, titled "The Devil Inside," it will be up to the rest of the gang to figure out what happened to Elena and fix Katherine's wrongdoings.

In a promo video, everyone seems to be after Katherine's corpse. Nadia tells Katherine, "Once Mia does her spell, Elena will be gone forever, and this body will be yours for good." Forunately, Damon is totally resistance to giving up Katherine's corpse up. "You ain't getting [the body]," he tells Nadia in the promo. However, Nadia doesn't take no for an answer and shoves Damon into the wall while demanding him to tell her where he buried the body.

According to executive producer Julie Plec, viewers can expect Katherine to play games with the Salvatore brothers' hearts while she's in control of Elena's body. "[Katherine]'s so into Stefan right now and so not into Damon right now, and yet Elena was about ready to re-embrace her relationship with Damon and Damon was all ready to win back his girl, so you can only imagine how that's going to go down," reports WetPaint.

In an interview with TVLine, Plec also teased how Damon, Elena's actual boyfriend, will react when Katherine takes over her body.

"He's all ready to go ahead and do what he can to get Elena back and can't understand, in the beginning, why she's not returning his phone calls. [Laughs] So [the next] episode spirals from there. But Damon's working really hard to reclaim his undying and eternal love for Elena just as Elena, aka Katherine, is trying to extricate herself from Damon's life," she said.

In addition, episode 12 will welcome back Enzo.

The synopsis for "The Devil Inside" reads: "When Enzo brings Damon a gruesome present and insists that they bond by committing an act of revenge, Damon makes an effort to do the honorable thing. After finding himself in awkward and confusing conversations with Nadia, Matt impulsively decides to throw a party, where Caroline makes a stunning confession to Elena, then has to face the consequence of her actions with Stefan and Tyler. Aaron does his best to make amends for his family's past misdeeds and start a new life for himself. Finally, Elena suddenly finds herself in a life-threatening situation with only minutes to figure out how to save herself."
