"Super Smash Bros." has become a hit for Nintendo fans which opened the possibility that it could launch alongside My Nintendo and NX.

VentureBeat reported that many gamers are hooked on this Nintendo offering and that the company wants to keep it that way once the game is introduced to platforms other than the Wii U and 3DS.

It noted that Nintendo is planning to release a new gaming device, dubbed as NX and that the four-player fight game may launch along with it.

The Nintendo NX is said to be "a hybrid machine," which can function both as a console and a handheld.

Yibada said the device may start mass production by March 2016 and will likely launch during the third quarter.

The Nintendo NX will complement not only the "Super Smash Bros. 4" but also other hit game titles like "The Legend of Zelda."

In a Twitter post, Japan video games industry consultant Serkan Toto divulged information about this plan.

"Bandai Namco is currently developing several NX titles. Smash Bros is planned to be a launch title. I am not sure about the date - yet ;)" he tweeted.

According to Geek, Toto also noted that the game will be a great addition to the upcoming NX titles. He claimed that many gamers are indeed hoping that the "Super Smash Bros." will indeed be made available for the NX console.

It was also mentioned in the Venture Beat report that "Super Smash Bros." has generated more revenue in the past months than any other game offered by the company.

When the game was launched on the Wii U, Geek said it became the fastest-selling title with about half a million units sold during its first three days in the United States. It added that the game has a record of 4 million copies sold.

Gamers and Nintendo fans obviously wanted to spend money to play the game, which helped it earn more from areas like Europe, The Americas and Japan.

"We will continue to release attractive add-on content maximizing features of each software title since they help maintain software usage rate and keep the title at the center of conversation," said Nintendo chief executive Tatsumi Kimishima in the Venture Beat report.

As an update on the game, IGN said Bayonetta and Corrin will be the two added players for "Super Smash Bros."

This was earlier confirmed by the company through a Twitter post, noting that the two characters will available on the afternoon of February 3.
