"Frozen" is perhaps one of Disney's most iconic films as of late. The musical-fantasy film was first released in 2013 and has enjoyed stellar success worldwide. The highly anticipated sequel, "Frozen 2," has already generated much speculation as to what the upcoming film will be about.

Olaf, the beloved snowman who comes to life, is arguably one of Disney's most memorable sidekicks. There are rumors, as reported by Movie News Guide, that the ever optimistic snowman will be getting a girlfriend in "Frozen 2."

Considering Disney's penchant for adding romance into the mix, giving Olaf a female counterpart is entirely possible. While fans may easily dismiss the rumors as something as mere fan fiction gone wrong, Josh Gad, who voices Olaf in the films, did hint that Olaf will be getting a female counterpart in the sequel, during an interview with Yahoo. Gad also answered some "tough" questions kids had regarding the popular "Frozen" character, including what Olaf's favorite color was or why Olaf does not wear pants.

Christian Today also reports that a more "fun" side of Elsa will be explored in the sequel, as the new Queen of Arendelle lets go of her fear and opens up to the world. As seen in "Frozen Fever," the normally somber Elsa is more cheerful and doting towards her sister, Anna.

There were previous rumors that Elsa will die to save Anna's life in the sequel, but these turned out to be false. There are also rumors that Kristoff and Anna will be getting more serious in their relationship, and might even get married. There is also the looming threat of Hans, who might come back from the Southern Isles for revenge. 

According to the website, director Chris Buck said that Anna's story will be explored more in the sequel as will Anna and Elsa's relationship as sisters. There is also expected to be an epic "Let It Go" duet between the two sisters. The "Frozen" wardrobe is also another thing to look out for, with Elsa rumored to be getting a new one.

With regards to Olaf's lady love's name, there is no definite name as of yet. However, it is speculated that her name will be "Eliana" as per one film theory.

There is no definite date as of yet as to when "Frozen 2" will come out, but fans can expect it sometime in 2018.
