We've known Santa Claus to have a big tummy and fat body, but Yorkdale Mall in Canada changed the iconic look of the legendary character when they hired the Canadian model, Paul Mason, to recreate the Father of Christmas' style.

According to SMH, there is a Mr. Claus that is solely for adults who is staying at Toronto Yorkdale Mall. The 51-year-old model was named as one of the hottest Santas of today, with his naturally white hair and beard.

In fact, Cosmopolitan noted that he might be the only Santa that young at hearts would actually love to hug and sit on his lap. The large retail shopping mall gave Saint Nicholas a major makeover that instantly made him a "fashion icon."

National Post added that this is the first time that Mason hit the international scene since he started modeling three decades ago. In fact, Toronto's Yorkdale Shopping Center made him as their resident Fashion Santa and the face of their Christmas campaign.

However, aside from the fashion statement, the marketplace collaborated with Mason to help the Sick Kids Foundation to raise money in support of Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children. He is offering selfies for every shopper to fund the cause.

Additionally, behind Mason's iconic white beard and the love for red and white Christmas colors, he also has something in similarity with the folkloric character himself -- they are now both renowned Saint Nicholas. He instantly made noise when he donned sophisticated designer clothes which gave the character of Santa Claus' usual sense of style a major twist.

In fact, his snaps have quickly gone viral as they surfaced online, which earned him the attention of a lot of famous publications, like Time magazine, Fortune, Harper's Bazaar and other media establishments such Telegraph and BBC.

"It's just the most unexpected thing. Of course, I've had a long career -- 30 years as a model prior to social media -- and this is something else. I've never seen anything like it. Through working all over the world, I have friends in all the major cities, and collectively they've come together and just supported what's going on. But they're equally as shocked as anyone else," said Mason.

Meanwhile, Toronto Star noted that he loves his new role as the new Fashion Santa, but he made it clear that he stayed away from children so they wouldn't be puzzled over Santa's new look.

"I do my best to stay away from the Swarovski Crystal Wonderland environment at Yorkdale where Santa hosts his visits with children. Adults are really my focus," Mason wrote in his e-mail to the publication.
