Leonardo DiCaprio and Jamie Foxx will reunite for Warner Bros's new film "Mean Business."

The Hollywood Reporter announced that the "Django Unchained" actors would star in a film based on the crime novel by S. Craig Zahlers entitled "Mean Business On North Ganson Street."

The book tells the story of two detectives who team up to stop a series of attacks on a police department. It begins with a disgraced detective (DiCaprio) who is sent to a Missouri town where crime is growing. He is partnered with a detective (Foxx) who has his own set of violent issues just in time to see police officers becoming targeted for murder. The two decide to team up and take justice into their own hands.

DiCaprio recently starred in "The Great Gatsby" with Carey Mulligan and Tobey McGuire. He also starred in "Inception," "Revolutionary Road," Shutter Island" and "J. Edgar." He will next be seen in Martin Scorsese's "Wolf of Wall Street" which also stars Jonah Hill and Matthew McConaughey.

Foxx can currently be seen in "White House Down" with Channing Tatum and Maggie Gyllenhaal. He has starred in "Rio," "Horrible Bosses," "Ray" and "Collaterel." The actor next makes appearances in "Rio 2," "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," and "Annie."

Zahler is on board to write the script with DiCaprio and his Appian Way partner Jennifer Davisson Killoran set to produce. Sarah Schechter is overseeing the project for Warner Bros. "Mean Business" marks the first major deal for newly appointed Greg Silverman, who took over the Warner Bros Worldwide Feature Film production section of the company.

Warner Bros has not announced a director or an expected release date.
