Will Smith returns to music with the remix version of Colombian band Bomba Estéreo's "Fiesta."

The track's remix edition, which features Smith rapping, was released via Sony Music Latin on Friday, Oct. 2, and will be available for sale in all digital outlets, Billboard wrote. "Fiesta," which is a combination of Colombian beats and electronic, is nominated for a Latin Grammy in the record of the year category.

The movie star's collaboration with the band marks Smith's music comeback since his 2005's record, "Lost and Found," Fox News Latino reported. Some of his hits are "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It," ''Miami," ''Wild Wild West," and 2005's "Snatch."

Smith, 47, discovered Bomba Estéreo, known for its "blend of Latin, tropical and electro sounds," while visiting Colombia, the news outlet added. According to Billboard, he "loved the electro tropical fusion but didn't know who the track was by until he found it in his manager's playlist weeks later and was told it belonged to a group called Bomba Estéreo."

"When I was told that Will Smith wanted to collaborate on a remix with Bomba, I couldn't believe it," band founder and multi-instrumentalist Simon Mejia said in a statement quoted by Fox News Latino. "This opportunity to work with Will was beyond anything we have dreamed of. ... It's just magic."

On Sept. 23, Smith congratulated the band on Facebook for their Latin Grammy nominations. The 16th annual Latin Grammys will take place on Nov. 19 on Univision airing live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Fox News Latino wrote.

Smith raps in both English and Spanish in "Fiesta," the news outlet noted. He also reportedly shot a music video for the song's remix together with Bomba Estéreo.

"We all had a blast together at the video shoot, and we want to thank Will for being so warm and such a pleasure to work with... and for rapping in Spanish!" said Mejía, as quoted by Billboard.

Aside from Mejia, Bomba Estéreo also includes singer Liliana Saumet, drummer Andrés Zea, and multi-instrumentalist Julian Salazar, Fox News Latino listed. The group was formed in 2005 and has performed in major music festivals since then, such as Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Glastonbury.

Smith has long hinted about his music comeback. He claimed recently that he is working on new songs with rapper Drake, NME reported. The Hollywood star also stated that he's recorded "seven or eight" songs with Kanye West. Rumors about Smith's collaboration with the "FourFiveSeconds" rapper started going around when they were photographed together in a Brazil studio in 2013.
