After getting fired by the WWE for her offensive comments, Seth Rollin's girlfriend Zahra Schreiber claimed she was not anti-Semite and that the company's decision broke her heart.

The Hamilton Spectator said the WWE let Schreiber go for her "inappropriate and offensive remarks" for the Nazi artwork which was posted on her Instagram account three years ago.

In an apology on Instagram, Rollins' girlfriend reportedly wrote a long statement about the issue at hand.

"Last week WWE made a decision to release me from my contract due to posts I made on social media years ago, long before I was ever employed by them. I understand why that decision was made, but it broke my heart and my spirit. I don't want my mistakes to reflect on WWE or how incredible they are as a company. The responsibility is my own," Schreiber said.

She also expressed her apologies to those she offended with her post.

"I would like to make it very clear I am in no way, shape or form an anti-Semite, nor do I condone anti-Semitism. If one were to have looked deeper into my post, one would have noticed that also in the photo was Marlene Dietrich. Marlene was a Polish actress who opposed Nazism and fought for the oppressed during WWII," she furthered noting that she considered the photos as "nothing more than a story."

In her lengthy post, Schreiber said she takes full accountability for everything she said but noted that there were some alleged Twitter exchanged that never happened.

She also lamented losing her job and saying goodbye to her dreams.

"In an instant, I lost it all. But I can't let this define my life. I know who I am as a person. I'm as human as anyone else. I've made mistakes like we all do," Schreiber noted.

An earlier NESN report related that the WWE made the decision of firing Schreiber, who is part of the WWE's developmental league NXT, after her 2012 Nazi swastika photos surfaced.

"WWE has released Zahra Schreiber due to inappropriate and offensive remarks she made that were recently brought to our attention," read the WWE statement quoted by NESN.

This is reportedly not the first time that Schreiber made headlines as last February nude pics of her and Rollins appeared on social media.

Hollywood Life said Rollins' then fiancee Leighla Schultz expressed her dismay over the wrestler's infidelity.

"I hate my life and my fiancée; I just wanted to run away with you," she was quoted by Hollywood Life as saying.

After the incident, Wrestling Rumors said Schultz quickly changed her social media status to "Single" which signalled that she already ended things with Rollins.
