Tom Holland's Spider-Man has finally entered the scene after the young actor was spotted in the "Captain America: Civil War" set in Germany for his cameo in the film.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is now entering its third phase as the first-ever "Civil War" teaser during Disney's D23 Expo 2015 in Anaheim was introduced by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige.

Actors Chris Evans, who plays Steve Rogers a.k.a. Captain America, and Anthony Mackie who stars as Falcon were in attendance.

Aside from the significant number of conflicts presented in it, Yahoo News noticed the absence of the much-awaited appearance of Holland's Peter Parker in the film where Marvel's version of Spider-Man is set to make a cameo before his solo movie due in theaters on July 28, 2017.

According to Comic Book, reports of the web-slinger's appearance via a cameo in "Civil War" led to a general assumption that he would only be playing a small role.

However, the outlet recently found out that the 19-year-old English actor would be playing a bit more than that.

The new masked hero would be sporting two suits during the course of the story including a pajama-style home-made one that a regular teenager would be able to put together and a more advanced and sleek suit which could have possibly been made with the help of Tony Stark.

In fact, Holland himself added credence to this rumor in an Instagram post of a selfie sporting a full black outfit, captioned: "Holiday over, it's time to get back to work."

While Holland's involvement in the film had been announced in previous reports from Screen Rant and other entertainment outlets, his appearance in the "Civil War" set in Leipzig over the weekend and the announcement made in the D23 Expo seem to have made it "officially official."

"The movie stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Emily VanCamp, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Frank Grillo, Tom Holland, with William Hurt and Daniel Brühl," Marvel Studios said an official statement.

Meanwhile, Comic Book noted how the main members of the Avengers and other major characters are present during the filming in Germany based on photos taken.

The outlet assumed that the scenes shot in the location would be something big, which would probably be the movie's climactic battle.

The studio confirmed that the Russo brothers, Anthony and Joe, would be helming the film due for release on May 6, 2016.
