The storm has passed. We’ve survived.

And I’m not talking about last night’s storm that ravaged the east coast, badgering the coast will heavy snow and high intensity rain. I’m talking about New York City’s annual SantaCon, aka the ultimate frat bro Christmas party.

Every year, on one fateful Saturday in the weeks leading up to Christmas, a mass of post-graduate college bros gather together to dress up like Santa and bar crawl through Murray Hill and down into the Lower East Side, and every year it’s a colossal mess. In fact, this year New York City took measures to control the insanity by increasing their presence, stationing along the pub crawl.

““They are ruining Santa Con. They are ruining our fun...The cops should be here, but not to bust our balls,” Anthony Perugini, a 28-year-old teacher, told the Post. “That’s not cool. That’s wrong, man!”

Their efforts resulted in a quieter SantaCon than we’ve seen in the past, however, there was still plenty of vomit and debauchery to be had. Fortunately, there were a few sober-enough participants to capture the best moments on video, and below, you can watch one of the most epic Santa brawls of all time.
