Microsoft's next product in its well-received Surface Pro line -- the rumored Surface Pro 4 -- looks to beat all other existing tablets in the market. For one, it's expected to follows its predecessors' hybrid nature (tablet-laptop), and this appears to be one key area the company has capitalized on.

When the Surface Pro 4 releases remains to be speculated at this point, though it's almost guaranteed to sport (or at least be upgraded to) the highly-anticipated Windows 10. The operating system's editions are no longer secrets, and we know for certain that it is part of Microsoft's aim to unify all its devices in a rich and promising ecosystem.

Microsoft has announced that Windows 10 arrives on summer. On top of debuting with the new OS, the Surface Pro 4 is also said to launch together with Apple's iPad Air 3, the Venture Capital Post noted.

Followers would know that the iPad is another product churned by rumor mills, but it isn't surprising to see that it eventually competes with Microsoft's alleged slate.

Should the Surface Pro 4 fail to launch alongside Windows 10, it's said to be released by August or September, the VC Post cited. As told by the outlet, this time frame coincides with the arrival of the third iPad Air.

It could also be possible that the Surface Pro 4 comes beside new Lumia flagship smartphones. Previously, Neil Broadley, Microsoft's Director of Phone Marketing, said in a dialogue, "We remain completely committed and focused on new flagship products."

"That said, certainly we believe the best time to bring those flagship devices to market is when we have our very latest flagship software experience available. We're focusing our flagship development for slightly later when Windows 10 is available," the director assured.

Recently, Crossmap cited reports, which claim that the Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL may be released beside Windows 10 as well. If this holds truth, then Windows 10's upcoming arrival looks to be hardware-studded, after all.

Under the hood, the Surface Pro 4 is believed to pack Intel's new Broadwell processor, 16 GB of memory and 1 TB of internal storage, Christian Today noted. It's long speculated to arrive in two variants: a 12- and 14-inch model. Display is expected at a resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels.

In terms of camera, rumors over an 8 MP front snapper and a 3.5 MP selfie shooter are said. A fan-less architecture, together with additional battery life and Stylus Pen, are expected in the Surface Pro 4.

As told by Christian Today, the Surface Pro 4 is also branded as Microsoft's "ticket" in unifying the rest of its products, including the PC, Windows Phone, Windows Embedded and the Xbox One.

The Surface Pro 4 is purported to sell between $1,200 and $2,000, the VC Post said.

What do you expect to see in the new Surface Pro?
