Citing information from Samsung, International Business Times reported that the S6 models will start selling on Apr. 10. Despite the Korean tech giant's announcement of several color options (black, white, blue, gold and green), the outlet said the U.S. will only be offered black and white models.

With regards to other carriers, the source wrote, "It is possible some U.S. carriers may release the devices a few days or weeks later as has happened in the past."

As told by Gotta Be Mobile, it's uncertain whether the U.S. is part of Samsung's initial release schedule, which spans a total of 20 countries.

T-Mobile has not given release details yet, but the company has nevertheless passed its FCC filing for the Galaxy S6 Edge just recently. In addition, the carrier currently holds a contest with up to $3,500 worth of Samsung winnings.
