This Thursday's all-new episode of NBC's "Parenthood" could bring about big changes on Election Day as Kristina Braverman finishes her bid for mayor of Berkeley.

In an exclusive clip from NBC, Kristina's brother-in-law Crosby tries to teach his son Jabbar a lesson about civic duty by bringing him to the voting polls. However, because Crosby did not register to vote in time, he is forced to cast his vote in public.

Nevertheless, Crosby seems confident that Kristina will win.

However, the question viewers will be anxious to learn is whether or not Kristina will beat Bob Little in the election. It hasn't been an easy road for her, especially dealing Bob Little's smear campaign and her refusal to become negative, states Bustle.com.

Here's the show synopsis for the upcoming episode, "Election Day," according to CinemaBlend.com:

"Election day stirs up emotions amongst the family- Jasmine (Joy Bryant) and Crosby (Dax Shepard) use the election as a teaching moment for Jabbar (Tyree Brown), while Kristina (Monica Potter) and Adam (Peter Krause) keep hopes high. Julia (Erika Christensen) and Joel (Sam Jaeger) deal with Victor's (Xolo Mariduena) reservations and Amber (Mae Whitman) has some of her own, when the band asks her to sing guide vocals. Meanwhile Sarah (Lauren Graham) helps Hank (Ray Romano) with a family affair."

TVLine exclusively reports that Jason Ritter will make a comeback on the show playing his role as Mark Cyr, estranged boyfriend of Graham's Sarah, later on in the fifth season. Ritter will reappear in Episode 19 on April 24 when Mark has a chance encounter with one of the show's characters. For now, Ritter is on board for just one episode.

"Parenthood" airs Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
