Boxing champ Mike Tyson was reportedly seen helping out a dude who crashed his motorcycle on Tuesday night in Las Vegas.

The victim, Ryan Chesley, was said to be speeding along Flamingo Road when his vehicle crashed after hitting a curb. He was lucky to have survived and even luckier that a boxing champ went out of his way to help.

A New York Daily News report said that Chesley was sent out flying off his bike after the crash--causing him a few injuries. His lawyer Stephen Stubbs said that the motorcycle rider even paralyzed a toe, broke an ankle and tore his muscles and ligaments which will be needing surgery.

Stubbs told New York Daily News that his client was helped by Tyson himself along with three other friends. He added that boxer's group blocked traffic in the area while Tyson chatted with Chesley to keep him calm.

"He looked up and saw Mike Tyson. He was saying 'don't worry, don't worry, people are coming,'" Stubbs added.

The injured rider told his lawyer that at first he thought he was hallucinating so he grabbed a camera with his uninjured hand and snapped a photo of Tyson.

"He didn't know what was happening. (Mike) just stood by him and talked to him. When he was done with the good deed, he just took off," Stubbs recounted.

The recent heroic moment of the boxer is a bit unbelievable for many people because of Tyson's history of violence. In 1997, he became famous for biting the ear of his opponent Evander Holyfield. He also became the center of media attention when he used "vulgar language" when he was being interviewed on live TV in Canada regarding his rape conviction.

Stubbs told New York Daily News that Chesley is "very grateful" to Tyson for his help prompting him to send on Friday a fruit basket to the boxer with a handwritten note.

The lawyer added that the victim really wanted to send his thanks to the boxer.

"We asked if we could send chocolates but his rep said 'no, he's a health nut.' We sent him a fruit basket because he is into antioxidants," he added.

Steve Lott, Tyson's assistant, confirmed with ABC News that they indeed receive the fruit basket. Lott noted that half of the fruits have already been consumed, especially the pistachios.

Tyson, who has recently been having a one-man show about his life, surely made a mark in Chesley's life which the latter will presumably carry for his entire existence--forever grateful to the fighter for lending a helping hand. And this incident also shows that the boxer does have a big heart especially in helping out those who really need assistance.
