More images of the upcoming iPhone 6, from Russian designers Feld & Volk, have been leaked onto social media. The highlights include how the new digitizer and LCD flex cables and earpiece will look, per MacRumors. Many are awaiting the rumored launch date which is drawing close on Sept. 6, 2014.

The new images also promote earlier ideas that there will be new tapered, rounded edges to the iPhone 6. It's something that might not have as much to do with performance as it does comfort. Another alleged leak is of the new iPhone's logic board. As ubergizmo.com points out, the leak seems to be in line with other parts from the new model that have already surfaced. "It is interesting to note that the shape of this iPhone 6 logic board is not different from similar parts that have previously been leaked," according to ubergizmo.com. "Even the mounting locations which hold the logic board together with the actual casing appear to be the same," the website said.

A textured, silvery finish covers the SIM tray as well as the power switch, which looks sleeker and thinner than previous power switches. The mute button bears the same slightly raised texture that likely will make it easy to find in the dark.

Photos of the front panel also show how all the features from the camera light sensor and other elements will fit together. Of course, information is still slim, and many are wondering if there will be an headphone jack for headphones at all. Besides the feature of a raised camera ring that could come with Apple's latest iPhone, there's also talk that there will be no dedicated audio out interface. It's possible headphones will be plugged into the lightning port instead.

But as the Daily News pointed out earlier this summer, that headphone rumor might be just that because it would limit an essential multitasking funciton if the headphone jack shared the same port as the charger. "Unless Apple follows through on another big rumor--wireless charging--customers won't be able to listen to headphones and charge the phone at the same time."
