2K has finally released the first video showing the title and no less than the reigning NBA MVP in action.

The short gameplay footage, posted on Instagram by the basketball star himself, is reportedly clipped from the PS4 version of "NBA 2K15," Game Spot said. Kevin Durant is seen showcasing his dunking skills in the video - over the Golden State Warriors' Andre Iguodala.

"First look at #NBA2K15 for PS4 coming 10/7. #YourTimeHasCome," Durant said in the Instagram post.

According to @Ronnie2K on Twitter, "NBA 2K15" will have "Armpit hair, fatheads, furry animals, KD 7's, sick animation & more."

The seconds-long PS4 game footage "shows noticeable graphic improvement" over last year's installment, Sports Illustrated said. Game Spot reported the same, saying that 2K has made use of "new animations" as well as "new crowd elements" in "NBA 2K15."

It is a bit hard to take notice of all these - with the clip only a mere 10 seconds long but 2K did single out the giant Kevin Durant heads that fans were holding up in the PS4 gameplay teaser trailer.

The basketball star was announced to be the cover of "NBA 2K15" in May, Game Spot said. According to the outlet, Kevin Durant bonus items are in store for those who pre-order the title.

"This pack consists of a throwback Kevin Durant MyTeam card, two MyTeam card packs, Durant-inspired leg sleeves for use in MyPlayer mode, and 5,000 Virtual Currency," said the outlet. PSN pre-orders will reportedly give players a "separate bonus," Game Spot added.

KDramaStars reported that Euroleague teams have also been added to "NBA 2K15." "The global response to the integration of Euroleague teams into the NBA 2K series last year was fantastic, and a key factor in our decision to include the full complement of 2013-14 Euroleague teams in NBA 2K15," said Greg Thomas, President of Visual Concepts in the report.

He added, "We know there's a huge passion for basketball in Europe, and we're excited to further expand the number of playable European teams to make this the most comprehensive basketball game ever."

The game's soundtrack is composed of songs chosen by "Happy" singer Pharrell Williams. It can be recalled that the soundtrack for "NBA 2K14" was curated by LeBron James.

"NBA 2K15" has a release date of October 7 and is headed to PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Check out the short PS4 gameplay footage of the game below. Do you find it impressive?
