Here's one other thing in Sergio Garcia's life that involves a diamond--in the fourth and final round of the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, his tee shot landed on a spectator's diamond ring.

This is after rumors that Garcia already gave a diamond ring to longtime girlfriend Katharina Boehm, Cleveland.com said.

According to the report, the spectator wearing her engagement ring happened to be on the left side of the fairway on the No. 3 hole at the game and the golfer's shot flew right where she was at Firestone Country Club.

It wasn't Garcia's best shot as it flew well off the mark, in the gallery, the Bleacher Report commented. And it didn't help that it damaged someone's property.

The diamond was dislodged as soon as it was hit by the golfball and Garcia learned about it as he reached his ball, Golf Digest said.

Garcia sifted through the grass trying to spot a glimmer, the Cleveland.com report said. He also told the caddie to get her contact information.

"Obviously, it didn't feel very good because you never like to hit anybody, but if you hit someone and make her lose a diamond ring, you feel even worse," Garcia said on Sunday, as quoted by the report.

For The Win quoted CBS golf commentator, David Feherty, joking on air that it could be the most expensive tee shot of all time, as Garcia was prepared to purchase a new diamond ring or shoulder the ring's repair, per Cleveland.com.

"I think Sergio is going to have to dip into his back pocket... That looks like a 6-carater to me," CBS' Nick Faldo also said, as quoted by Golf Digest.

Garcia gave the woman an autographed ball while he apologized, Deadspin said.

The accident happened just hours after Tiger Woods withdrew from the competition because of a back injury, said Golf Digest.

Fortunately, someone else found the ring 20 minutes later, the report noted.

Rory McIlroy now has the Claret Jug and the World Golf Championship title after beating Sergio Garcia, the Daily Mail reported. He also reclaimed the No. 1 spot.

The diamond ring incident might've killed the chances for Garcia somehow. Bad omen, perhaps?
