After a series of rumors suggested that the upcoming iPhone6 will bear bigger screens, a brand new report emerges saying that the bigger screens will also have a higher resolution.

According to Marc Gurman of 9to5Mac, the next generation iPhone will have a specific screen resolution of 1704 x 960 pixels, meaning almost 50% greater than that of the iPhone 5s. Gurman has been known for coming up with advance reports on upcoming gadgets and features by the Cupertino-tech giant. However, his sources for the new information remains anonymous.

He also added that the company is already testing the higher resolution features of the new iPhone screens though Apple has stayed mum about it.

SMH reports that if this rumor would push through for the iPhone 6, then developers may need to adjust and maximize their apps to fit better the new predicted larger screens of the next Apple iPhone model.

When it comes to the iPhone 6 release date, a German Apple blog called iFun recently suggested that the device will be launched by September. Again, the sources were unnamed but claimed that various Apple stores based in Germany have restricted employees from spending vacation leaves in September so to as to get ready for the anticipated launch.

News of a high resolution screen is not the only new rumor for Apple's flagship device. A brand new iPhone 6 concept design created by designer C. Gruber has also emerged, states Phones Review. The specs of the new mockup include having the highly talked about A8 processor, the 5.2-inch HD display, 64GB storage and even the M8 motion coprocessor. It was even presented in three color designs of white, gold and gray.

The rumored sapphire glass material is also implemented with the handset of aluminum build. Other features include the 12MP rear camera, 3MP front camera, iOS 8 and a 3500mAh battery.
