Evernote is expanding into Latin America with the help of telecommunications company Telefonica.

Announced on Tuesday on its blog, Evernote has launched a partnership with Telefonica to bring its services to Latin America, starting in Brazil, but from the sound of the announcement, Evernote and Telefonica will soon be offering deals to other countries in Latin America:

"Today, Evernote launched an exciting partnership with Telefonica, one of the world's largest and most forward-thinking telecommunication companies. We're kicking off the partnership in Brazil by offering Telefonica's Vivo subscribers an entire year of Evernote Premium. Our plan is to expand this relationship to reach the hundreds of millions of Telefonica mobile customers throughout Latin America and Europe."

Telefonica customers in Brazil that subscribe to Vivo, are now going to receive Evernote Premium for iOS or Android, which include a higher monthly upload limit of 1GB, access to notes and notebooks offline, a pin-based security feature, along with more sharing options and priority customer support. To get the premium Evernote experience, you just have to go to www.vivo.br/evernote and either upgrade your current Evernote account, or start a new one, if you've never used Evernote before.

Speaking of which, if you've never used Evernote before but are eligible for a year of free premium service, you're in for a treat. Evernote has been featured on Latinos Post Tech before, as the top Android app "to Make Life Easier." Quite simply put, once you've used Evernote, you'll probably find your life a lot more organized without much or any extra work.

Evernote's non-premium service is a free note-taking app that works across Mac, Windows, iOS, Android, and other platforms to bring one single way to keep reminders and organize your thoughts anytime. The service sincs all of your notes, and you can access them on the web as well, and it comes flush with plug-ins for web browsers on many platforms to save pages to your notebook. It's the best way to painlessly keep track of your own thoughts and activities, and its premium service is now free for Brazilians who use Vivo - and likely will be free for other customers across Latin America soon.
