With Wrestlemania 30 quickly approaching, matches for the card are beginning to take shape - led by Hulk Hogan's announcement on Monday Night Raw that there will be 30-man Over-the-Top-Rope Battle Royal in honor of Andre the Giant. Ryback, Big E, Curtis Axel, Alberto Del Rio, Dolph Ziggler, and Fandango have all been slated to be a part of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. John Cena will take on Bray Wyatt while Daniel Bryan faces Triple H at the April pay-per-view, with the stipulation that if Bryan defeats the WWE COO, he gets a WWE World Heavyweight title shot later that night in the main event against champion Randy Orton and Royal Rumble winner Batista.

One match being discussed for Wrestlemania 30 is a possible Eight -Man Tag Team that could involve a part of the NXT roster, tying them to the potential Real Americans break-up. Cesaro may be teamed up with Sami Zayn, Bo Dallas, and NXT Champion Adrian Neville to go up against Jack Swagger, Corey Graves, and NXT Tag Team Champions The Ascension, while Justin LaBar of TribLive.com is reporting that The Shield may be pitted against Kane and The Ascension.

A bout no longer in play is Cody Rhodes against his brother Goldust. Both had been lobbying for the match since last year but the idea is said to be dropped altogether. Another match in jeopardy is the New Age Outlaws rematch against the Usos for the WWE Tag Team Championship. "Road Dogg" Jesse James has been competing despite a back injury and will give it a go in New Orleans if his injury allows him to participate.

Post-Wrestlemania, the WWE intends to push Cesaro, Wyatt, and Roman Reigns, while maintaining Cena, Bryan, Orton, and Sheamus as the top talent. Batista will also get a considerable push and may face Cena, Bryan, or CM Punk at this year's SummerSlam pay-per-view in Los Angeles. Punk is a long-shot to be back with the company for a SummerSlam match against "The Animal", with Punk still out of the WWE fold.

Punk is scheduled to be on AMC's Talking Dead show Sunday, which follows the series The Walking Dead, upsetting a few folks in the locker room, despite Punk not being a part of the company. According to rajah.com, there is heat on CM Punk for traveling to Los Angeles to do Talking Dead but would not talk with WWE officials when Monday Night Raw rolled into his hometown of Chicago.

Punk has been silent about his contractual status since his January interview with The MMA Hours' Ariel Helwani and done very limited public appearances since he walked away, with WWE Chairman of the Board and CEO Vince McMahon trying hard to get "the Second City Saint" back into the company due to his ability to move merchandise off the rack.

Speculation continues to mount that CM Punk may jump into the sport of mixed martial arts, with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight Lyoto Machida posting a photo on Instagram of Punk watching UFC 171 at his home, and UFC president Dana White, who Punk accompanied cageside at UFC 170, re-iterating that while he has not had discussions with the "Straight-Edge Superstar" about competing in the UFC, he is open to the idea should Punk want to give it shot.

"I mean, yeah. I guess if he wanted to fight, I'd talk to him about it," said White to Washington D.C. CBS Radio 106.7 The Fan's host Chad Dukes.

Both the Ultimate Warrior and Jake "The Snake" Roberts have decided on who will induct them into the WWE Hall of Fame Wrestlemania 30 weekend. The Ultimate Warrior announced, via Twitter, that Linda McMahon will make his presentation while Roberts has tapped "Diamond" Dallas Page, whose yoga program, DDP Yoga, has helped Roberts with his recovery from drug addiction, to do the honors. Roberts and the Ultimate Warrior are a part of the 2014 WWE Hall of Fame class, joining Lita, Paul Bearer, and Carlos Colon Sr. Colon, father of both former WWE star Carlito Cool Breeze and current member of Los Matadores Diego, was the founder of Puerto Rico's World Wrestling Council (WWC), having won the WWC Universal title 26 times defending the championship against the likes of Abdullah The Butcher, Randy "Macho Man" Savage, and "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair.

E! Total Divas cast-member, Naomi of the Funkadactyls, has been unable to fulfill her obligations to promote the reality show due to her recent eye injury. The Funkadactyl diva suffered a fractured orbital bone during a Monday Night Raw match against Askana that has prevented her from traveling with the company and helping with the promotion of the E! reality-show. Naomi is expected to return in time for Wrestlemania 30.
