Nvidia has released the GTX 750 Ti graphic card for $149 and the GTX 750 graphic card for $119 based on the new Maxwell architecture that promises to deliver a superior level of graphics for some of the newest games hitting the market.

The Maxwell architecture promises to deliver the same amount of graphical power as some of their high end products, but with much less power usage. According to Gamespot, the GTX 750 Ti can deliver the same graphics as the marquee GTX 480 but with only 60 watts of power consumption. With a lower price point the GTX 750 Ti and GTX 750 should be a popular choice for those looking to upgrade their graphics on their PC.

Besides the Maxwell architecture found on the GTX 750 Ti, the graphics card includes 2GB of 128-bit GDDR5 memory, 640 CUDA cores, a 1020 MHz base clock, 2048KB of L2 cache, and 5.4Gbps memory speed. The GTX 750 is slightly less impressive: 512 CUDA cores, 1GB of 128-bit GDDR5 memory and a 5.0 Gbps memory speed.

These specs translate into a strong performance for games on PCs with the new Nvidia graphics cards. For example, fans who want to try out the beta for Titanfall will be able to play the beta at 1080p and 58 fps. In comparison, the Xbox One is only capable of playing the game at 720p, meaning those who buy the GTX 750 or the 750 Ti will be able to play Titanfall at superior levels of performance.

Nvidia has also announced that the company will follow up the powerful GTX Titan with the GTX Titan Black. The GTX Titan Black will feature the same GK110 Kepler chip that is featured on the GTX 780 Ti with 6GB of 384-bit GDDR5 memory to deliver an unparalleled experience. No price was announced for the GTX Titan Black and Nvidia did not set a release date for the new graphic card either.

While Nvidia is focusing on creating their own brand of products to appeal to high-end PC gamers, the company is also trying their hand at Android-based consoles. The Nvidia Shield is a handheld console that is capable of playing games found on smartphones and offers an interface modeled off of a console controller.
