Data miners have found several files in the game Titanfall that could show how many maps and modes may appear in the final version of the game when it is released March 11.

NeoGAF user RazorUK claims to have found many different files in the beta for Titanfall that reveal at least 14 different maps are planned for the game along with several different game modes that could make it into the final version. In addition, several photos were uncovered for the unreleased maps along with a list of perks and weapons that may be included in Titanfall.

The names of the maps allegedly discovered for Titanfall are Angel City, Colony, Fracture, Relic, Airbase, Boneyard, Corporate, Outpost 207, Lagoon, Rise, Smugglers Cove, Overlook, Nexus, and O2. Another map, Training Ground, was also discovered, but this is most likely a map for the tutorial for the game rather than a full map for the multiplayer game.

In addition to these maps, several extra game modes were listed in this data leak. Besides the Attrition, Hardpoint Capture, and Last Titan Standing modes found currently in the beta version of the game, Team Deathmatch and Capture the Flag were also listed as potentially appearing in the game. Considering these are two of the most common multiplayer game types found in video games, it would hardly be a surprise if Titanfall came with these modes. Further data pulled from Titanfall's beta implies that split-screen co-op could also be put into the game, enabling local multiplayer as well as the online multiplayer.

Titanfall will be appearing on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC, and many consider it to be the best potential game for the Microsoft family of consoles coming in 2014. The game will be online multiplayer only, barring the ability to play with a friend split screen, and if the game is successful developers may consider dropping single-player campaigns from future first and third-person shooters. While there have been some server connectivity issues found in the game's beta, Titanfall has been well received by fans so far. It will be interesting to see if the game everything that Microsoft and developer Respawn Entertainment promised at E3 2013 once it launches in March.
