On Feb. 5, "Criminal Minds" will debut its epic 200th episode with the return of Emily Prentiss, who is called on to help rescue J.J. from a dangerous situation.

In a previous episode, a mysterious person wearing a glove grabbed J.J. from behind while she was leaving work. Her screams were muffled and her cell phone tumbled to the ground, notes TVLine. The upcoming episode, titled "200," will pick up where the cliffhanger left off.  

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paget Brewster, who was once a series regular on the CBS procedural series, will reprise her role of Emily Prentiss and help save J.J.  Show producer Erica Messer described Brewster's role as "a driving force in the episode."

In an interview with TVLine, Brewster dropped a number of teasers about the landmark episode, revealing that after hearing about J.J.'s crisis, Emily "drops everything, gets on the Interpol jet and boom -- she goes to Virginia to help solve the problem."

Emily will be forced to race against the clock as a man will use torture techniques to get information out of JJ. "The race is on, to try to get to her before they break [her]," said Brewster.

Brewster added that she was "thrilled that I got to do so much -- and the reason for it is because Prentiss has information on JJ that no one else knew.... We find out that when JJ was flying Prentiss to Paris [in the Season 6 episode 'Lauren'], JJ was in fact undercover, working a mission the team doesn't know about."

Hotch and Prentiss will also share a special moment, revealed Messer.  

"There's a moment where Hotch asks her, 'How much longer do we have you?'  And there's this look he gives to her that makes you feel like if she was around any longer, maybe they would have grabbed a bite to eat, by themselves," reports TVLine.
