Fans of the couple are having deja vu feels, considering that Liam first proposed to Miley in 2012. The pair eventually decided to split the next year.

However, they couldn't deny getting back together when Miley started sporting her Neil Lane engagement ring again last month. The source for People also shared, "Liam is staying with Miley at her new Hidden Hills house. He has been filming 'Independence Day: Resurgence.' When Liam is off, he and Miley have time together at home."

Still, there are several media outlets, including The Hollywood Gossip and Mirror UK, who think that the second proposal didn't happen. THG noted that wearing the ring again was Miley's way of telling Liam to propose again, as she has no desire to start their relationship from scratch. A source for Radar Online said that the couple is already experiencing drama, with Miley wanting to race to the wedding, and Liam wanting to slow it down.

Meanwhile, Mirror UK noted that despite not formally proposing, they are telling people that their engagement is back on.

An insider told E! News that although Liam's family always liked Miley, they are happier for the pair this time around, adding that Liam never stopped loving Miley. Liam and Miley's timing was just off the first time they were engaged, many things played into them calling it off.
