Meanwhile, "Ant-Man and the Wasp" is making some noise online, especially after its helmer, Peyton Reed, talked to Cinema Blend about his plans for the "Ant-Man" sequel.

He described how the audience's response to his first Marvel movie paved the way for a certain degree of "narrative freedom" in creating the sequel.

"We know that conceptually Ant-Man works, and that people like the characters, so it does free us up to go some different directions -- and we absolutely want to with the second one," he explained.

He further revealed his plans to make the "Ant-Man and the Wasp" 'bigger' and 'weirder.'

"I want this movie to be bigger and weirder, and also maintain and increase the intimacy of what's going on between those characters," he added.

While the first adjective he used incites excitement, the second one seems to spark something that is always a good thing for any franchise: curiosity.

In "Ant-Man," Reed introduced the first ever inter-dimension trip in the MCU when Paul Rudd's, Scott Lang, traveled to the Quatum Realm, where he went subatomic to dismantle the regulator on his suit.

With that in mind, Cinema Blend believes that Reed may as well be revealing the theme of the sequel, though that would remain mere speculation since the movie has yet to get a final script.

But of course, there is still a chance that fans will not have to wait until July 6, 2018 to get a hint at the storyline, considering how rumors are always float in this modern day and age.
