Japanese arcade players are in for a treat with "Final Fantasy XIII's" sword wielding heroine "Lightning" as the episode's sole representative in the soon-to-be-released game "Dissidia Final Fantasy."

According to a report on Gematsu, Square Enix has recently introduced the character in their most recent installment of battle trailers for the fighting game that is coming to Japan on November 26.

Check out the trailer below:

Techno Buffalo deems this as more proof that the character has become quite a superstar in the realm of "Final Fantasy."

"Love her or hate her, Lightning has become quite the star of the Final Fantasy realm. She appears in every promotion, is plastered all over merchandise, and even stars in each spin-off game that Square Enix cranks out," the report read.

The outlet also noted how Square Enix seems to be creating "Final Fantasy" heroes from the same mould that produces a "sword-swinging warrior with a few distant magic attacks" like Cloud, Vaan, Squall, Titus and Zidane which leads them to question whether this is basically what the "Dissidia" hero roster would look like.

Among the other characters from the popular PlayStation game introduced in previous trailers are Vaan, Tidus, Zidane Tribal, Shantotto, Squall Leonhart, Terra Branford, Cloud Strife, Bartz Klauser, the Onion Knight, Cecil Harvey, the Warrior of Light and Firion.

Lightning is a light pink-haired fighter who challenged her fate of servitude and prevented an evil plot to destroy her home world Cocoon by the fal'Cie Barthandelus with the help of five comrades.

Her fight style includes a combination of elemental magic and gunblade attacks. She also has healing abilities that can prove handy in a tough battle.

She is featured in "Dissidia 012", the prequel to the upcoming arcade game "Dissidia Final Fantasy" (2015) that can be played on the PlayStation Portable and PlayStation Vita. She acts as the main protagonist in the game's storyline.

She is also dubbed as a former soldier who "has a gentle heart" despite her harsh mannerisms and speech, which can definitely leave a cool impression on both her co-characters and the players themselves.

She is usually wearing her white Guardian Corps military uniform though she also has two alternate outfits, namely the Midnight Cloak and khaki Guardian Corps Uniform worn by female soldiers.

Her weapon of choice is the Blazefire Saber gunblade which can shift to two forms: gun and blade.
