Harry Potter fans have been awaiting news about the wizarding world's prequel movie, "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them". Finally, a glimpse of the film's title can be seen, and it's amazingly toothy, which is what you'd expect from a book about magical beasts, right?

The title is the first official piece of promotion from the film, and it looks majestic with its steely, toothy and "serpentine" design.

The "Harry Potter" franchise, as Entertainment Weekly pointed out, had an iconic title design across its numerous novels and films, and "Fantastic Beasts" design is reminiscent of that, yet different enough to set it apart from the original franchise. Designers came up with the title treatment specifically to recall the "Harry Potter" franchise, but at the same time give it its own strong feel, with a serpent's tail replacing the iconic lightning bolt.

The design team for the title logo told Pottermore, "With Harry Potter the books existed and so the fans knew what the lightning bolt represented going into the film. With 'Fantastic Beasts,' there is the anthology that J.K. Rowling wrote, but the story is unknown. It's a mystery."

They went on, "You're trying to capture a lot of different imaginations, but the logo that's for everybody."

One thing's for sure, the "S" from the title is definitely inspired by a creature from the film. "The logo is a blend of beasts, it's not just one takeaway. When we arrived on [the] idea for the 'S' it excited us. So we thought there must be a way to accent these other letters with claws or ribs -- hints to other beasts while this one is the logo's centrepiece," the design team explained.

Check out the logo here.

However, as much as we can overthink about the breakdown of the movie title, this is the only tease that we can see so far about the film, as much of it is still under wraps. Here are other details that we do know, thanks to Liverpool Echo

The film will star Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything) as magi zoologist Newt Scamander in 1920's New York. By the way, Newt is a Hufflepuff who discovered the many magical creatures during his many travels.

His book, "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them" was a bestseller that became an approved textbook in Hogwarts, as it covers 75 fantastic creatures, including the Quintaped, Puffskein and the Knarl.

Are you excited to learn more about the developments of "Fantastic Beasts"? Hopefully, more teases come our way as the release date closes. The film will be released in a little over a year on November 18, 2016.
