Enrique Iglesias is turning his own tragedy into a way to help children in crisis. The "Hero" crooner is offering a hand to children who have to deal with emergencies after a drone accident during a concert forced him to undergo reconstructive hand surgery.

Billboard reported that the singer is partnering with "Save the Children", an organization that helps children around the world. Iglesias is working with the organization on designing a T-shirt to sell for the benefit the organization's emergency fund.

The white shirt's design will feature a red heart at its center - which reflected how the singer's shirt looked after he had cut his fingers while catching the drone during his Tijuana concert in May and smeared the blood on his shirt.

"I'm extremely excited to partner with Save the Children to help kids who need it the most. My heart goes out to the kids around the world who have lived through a humanitarian crisis and have to rebuild their lives from scratch," the 40-year old singer said in a statement.

The "Heart Attack" singer added that these are very special shirts and they would be a great help in providing children all around the world with the lifesaving emergency that they need.

"We have to take care of those who need us most - children - especially those facing crises around the world," Iglesias added.

"Many have lost loved ones, their homes and their schools. Some have been separated from their parents and they don't feel safe. These children are at risk of losing their childhood," said Save the Children chief operating officer Carlos Carranza. The organization has benefited children worldwide since its founding in 1919.

Iglesias had to undergo reconstructive hand surgery because of a fracture that needed to be corrected, a report with The Hollywood Reporter said.

The white T-shirts, will go on sale on the Spanish heartthrob's official website. The shirts will reportedly go for $27.50.

From the proceeds of each shirt sale, at least $12 will go to Save the Children's emergency fund. This fund focuses mainly on emergency crises such as floods brought about by typhoons and outbreaks in disease. The emergency fund would also help in providing supplies before an emergency strikes.
