Tony Parker expressed his desire to continue his career with the San Antonio Spurs, but the quick-as-a-cat NBA All-Star point guard said that he could also consider leaving the Spurs--which means the New York Knicks might come calling for his services.

ESPN reported that Parker, a three-time NBA champion with the Spurs, will be one of the main targets of the New York Knicks once the 31-year-old point guard becomes a free agent after the 2014-15 NBA season. The Knicks will look to acquire Parker to pair him up with superstar forward Carmelo Anthony.

When asked about the possibility of leaving the Spurs in 2015, Parker, who is averaging 18.0 points and 6.1 assists per game this season, said that he would listen to offers from other teams, but he quickly added that staying in San Antonio is his top priority.

"The history here, they always take care of the guys. They did it with [Tim Duncan] and Manu [Ginobili], so hopefully they take care of me. At the end of this year they have to guarantee my year after, so, technically, maybe, I'll be a free agent this summer," Parker told the Spurs Nation.

While recent reports included Parker's name on the list of free agents for 2015, the 13-year-veteran could actually hit the free agent market after this season.

The final year of his contract is only $3.5 million guaranteed and the Spurs hold the decision as to whether or not to make it fully guaranteed on June 30. Parker is not only hoping that the Spurs will guarantee his contract, but he would also like to sign an extension before next season.

But if the Spurs decide not to offer an extension and opt to go into a different direction, Parker said that he will be ready to move on and play for another team. The presence of his longtime coach Gregg Popovich and teammates Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili, with who he won multiple NBA titles with, will be a factor in his decision.

"I want to stay positive, but if it doesn't work out, then it doesn't work out. My wish is to stay here and play my whole career here, but if there is no more Pop or Timmy or Manu, I'm not against going somewhere. I'm not against that," said Parker, who was selected by the Spurs as the 28th overall pick during the 2001 NBA Draft.
