The Lorelais of Stars Hollow will be back in the small screen, and Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel are in talks for reprising their roles in four 90-minute installments.

The Hollywood Reporter said that Netflix is currently in negotiation to revive the series with "Gilmore Girls" creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, as well as original stars Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel as the mother-daughter tandem of Lorelai and Rory Glimore. Other big players like Kelly Bishop and Scott Patterson are also expected to return. However, not the same can be said about Melissa McCarthy.

TV Line also indicated that there is a possibility of revisiting all of Rory's boyfriends, as to finally force her to choose one (and put an end to fans' bickering on the subject.)

It has been reported that the streaming service wants to approach the revival as four 90-minute movies, and not a 10-episode series. The Warner Bros. production, which aired from 2000 to 2007, has been a strong performer on Netflix.

The series ran for seven seasons on the WB/CW network, and has been under the guidance of Sherman-Palladino until she exited after six seasons, following a contract dispute with the studio. E! News reported last summer that the series creator denied any follow up to "Gilmore Girls." However, she admitted, "Nobody here hates each other. That's very important... if it ever happened, I promise you we'd do it correctly."

She added, "It would have to be the right everything - the right format, the right timing, the right way. It would have to be honored in a certain way and I think that if you look around, we would all jump in and do it."

Sherman-Palladino has always been vocal about wanting to end the show on her own terms. At the Austin TV Festival reunion, she said she hopes that the studio will call her up for the last episode. When that call didn't come, she noted, "that's OK, that's not the way it works in Hollywood where there are rules."

Nobody directly involved in the show has officially commented yet. However Graham did take to Twitter, posting, "DUDES. I can't confirm this. But I also can't deny this..."

The "Gilmore Girls" revival series is still in negotiations. However, if the project does get its greenlight with the original cast in tow, production may start early next year. What do you want to see in the revival series, and who really is the best boyfriend for Rory?
