The Motorola Moto X Pure 2015 (AKA Moto X Style) was recently released and the promising flagship seems to be with good looks and great specs compared to its rivals. However, one of its chief rivals is the Motorola Nexus 6, which was made in partnership with Google and released late last year.

So how does the Moto X Style compare? Here's a side by side review.

DESIGN - Both phones have similar designs, with curved backs, small side bezels, and even front-facing speakiers. However, Nexus 6 is the larger phone with it's 6.0-inch screen, compared to Moto X Style's 5.7 inches. Latin Post noted that it is also slightly shorter and quite a bit narrower compared to the Google phone, making it easier to hold despite its slight thickness compared to the Nexus 6.

PERFORMANCE - The Nexus 2014 is a powerful flagship phone with its Quad-core Snapdragon 805, with 2.7GHz and Adreno 420 graphics, paireed with the 3GB of RAM. Moto X Style, on the other hand, is also pretty snappy, with a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 with 3GB RAM.

BATTERY - for their lifespan, the Nexus 6 has a slightly longer battery life with its 3220 mAh capacity battery, while the Moto X style packs 3000 mAh of juice

STORAGE - Motorola Nexus 6 is far inferior in storage compared to the Moto X stylem which has a micro SD slot that offers up to 128GB of expansion. The Nexus 6 pales in comparison as an expansionless phone, offering only 32GB or 64GB of storage.

CAMERA - Last year's Nexus 6 is packed with one of the best cameras that Motorola ever included on their phone, with the critically acclaimed 13-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, autofocus and dual LED Flash. It also has a 4K video recording and a 2-megapixel cam for selfies. The Moto x Style, on the other hand, comes with a 21-megapixel shooter with face detection autofocus, which is a bit slower than that of the Nexus 6. However, it has a dual LED flash and can record 4K video with HDR. The front cam is a 5-megapixel wide-angle lens with a front-facing LED flash, blowing Nexus 6 out of the water.

As for their prices, the Nexus 6 is now available for only $499.99, which is an amazing $150 off its original price. However, the recently released Moto X Style can be yours for only $400, but for a 16GB option. Other features of the Moto X include a universal LTE banding, and may also be included in Google's Project Fi in the future.
