Rumors are circulating that the next-generation handset of LG Electronics will be released during the last quarter of this year.

According to VCPost, the mobile developer may unveil the phone in November or December despite just recently releasing the LG G4 last April. But what can we expect from this upcoming device?

TechRadar states that the LG G5 is rumored to come with a Snapdragon 820 processor and a 20 MP camera. Another expected feature of the handset is a fingerprint scanner which could prove useful for a lot of users.

The report adds that the device could also sport an "all-metal" build, since LG bid goodbye to plastic material when they released the G4.

The leather choice for the current release reportedly "felt cheap, looked odd and wasn't anywhere near as visually pleasing as the metal HTC One M9 or iPhone 6."

TechRadar added that to give a better looking phone to the users, LG could make the G5 with curved edges. "That would give it an eye-catching look, but it wouldn't just be for show, the curves could also display extra notifications depending on which way the phone is held," added the same report.

Meanwhile, PC Advisor noted that the LG G5 may also come with a bigger 5.6-inch screen with 4K resolution. A bigger screen will give the tech company an edge when competing with other big names on the market like Apple and Samsung.

The new phone is also believed to come with a 3000mAh battery and a fast-charging system that could allow users to fully charge their phones in just an hour.

As for the price, the handset could have an initial price of $90 when packed with a 3GB of RAM and a Windows 10 operating system, repots VCPost. The phone will reportedly come in three versions: 32GB, 64GB and 128GB versions.

The device is said to be better than the previous installment. When it became available earlier this year, the LG G4 was equipped with IPS Quantum technology, which showed accurate color and impressive contrast ratios for more detailed images. The older phone also had 2560 x 1440 resolution in a 5.5" quad HD display, states LG's website.

In addition, the LG G4 also came with a 16MP primary shooter and had a powerful 3,000 mAh battery. Furthermore, the phone ran on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor with a 1.8GHz 64-bit Hexa-Core CPU. It was built with 32GB of internal memory and had expandable memory with a maximum capacity of 2TB.

With the rumored release of another LG phone by the end of the year, it seems like the company is also trying to release twin phones just like other mobile companies.
