In the build up to the highly-anticipated film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey" set to hit theaters in 2015, fans of the sexy bestseller got a glimpse of what to expect from the steamy film in a new fan-made trailer that looks convincingly official.

Uploaded by YouTube user JLongbone earlier this month, the one-minute faux teaser trailer has already received over 15,000 views and lots of positive feedback.

The very real-looking video features a seamless collection of shots of co-stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson in clips from their past acting gigs. The "red band, NC-17-rated" trailer is so convincing that many wondered if was indeed the real thing.

Anxious fans also got a glimpse of scenes from the moive last week after E! News published photos of the leading actors filming the bike scene where Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele first fell in love in the erotic novel. In the book, this is the passage where the two are walking down the street while Christian is being playful with Anastasia and teases her with a kiss. After the tease, Steele walks away angrily and almost gets run over by a bike at the crosswalk until Christian pulls her back into safety.

Cameras also captured the costars dancing on the set, apparently to keep warm.

The erotic romance novel "Fifty Shades of Grey" became an international bestseller and has been translated in 52 languages since its release in 2011. So far, the "Fifty Shades" trilogy has sold more than 90 million copies worldwide in e-book and print, making it one of the fastest-selling book series in history.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" will open in cinemas on Valentine's Day weekend in 2015, reports US Weekly.
