Leaked photos revealed an impeccable similarity between HTC One's A9 Aero to Apple's 2014 released iPhone 6, leaving some outlets to deem the former as a 'rip-off' of the latter.

According to BGR, it would not be impossible for some brands targeting the same market to take a page off of Apple's book considering how iPhones have an undeniable market appeal.

In fact, the outlet cited the first iPhone rip-off the tech from Samsung that led to legal actions after the Korean company created a 132-page analysis on how to 'copy' the Apple device 'pixel by pixel.'

Now, another brand seems to follow suit by making a very similarly designed smartphone and sell it at a much cheaper price: the HTC One A9 Aero.

Photos of the device in question were first seen in a recent Twitter post from leak provider Evan Leaks showing the HTC Aero in different colors.

The Twitter post also includes links to the introduction, branding and specs of the device which noticeably has a similar slim body and large-screen like that of the iPhone 6.

Set for release this November, the HTC One A9 "Hima Aero" sports a five-inch 2,560 x 1,400 Quad HD AMOLED display with 2 GB worth of RAM and 16 GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD.

The mid-range device is made sturdier by a body made with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 with a 2.5D curved glass.

Rumors cited by Android Pit revealed that the new HTC device would be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and a deca-core (MediaTek) Helio X20 processor as well as a 2150mAh battery capacity.

All these do not seem to matter, however, because the device, as BGR described, is a 'blatant iPhone 6 rip-off' that boasts their "their iPhoney glory."

The outlet also noted how HTC seemed to take advantage of Wall Street analysts' call for cheaper iPhones by making their own version and selling it at a lower price.

"You know how Wall Street analysts are constantly whining about how Apple needs to sell a cheap version of the iPhone lest it withers and die? Well, Apple still hasn't come around and launched an entry-level model, and while the company seems to be doing fairly well without selling any new low-cost iPhones, HTC has seemingly taken their advice to heart," the report read.

The outlet also noted how the company had all-together 'abandoned' their own design identity in favor of the "same exact shape as the iPhone 6 in what appears to be the same exact material."
